VINTAGE AIR™ Auto A/C - Painless™ Wiring Harness - Performance Tuning

1966 Shelby Cobra

Shortly after the owner bought this Cobra, the engine blew. He called us to take a look at it. After tearing down the engine we could see it was pretty much destroyed. There is a group of pictures that show the internal damage. One shows a crack in the cylinder wall and several others show valve spring and keeper damage.

The owner decided to replace the engine with a 500 horse power 460 crate motor from Ford. Runs on pump gas daily driver.

The car has an open rear end (no posi) so the customer sent us a Detroit Locker and it runs great.
